Veterans Resource Center

Veterans Connect at the Library Soldier with Duffel Bag

The Veterans Resource Center at the MCFL King City Branch was established through a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian. Staffed by volunteers, is dedicated to helping veterans and their families connect with the benefits they have earned through their years of service and sacrifice. Trained volunteers at each station provide assistance connecting veterans to resources both in and outside of the Library. Access to library materials and pamphlets on various topics including: transitioning from military to civilian life, finding jobs, surviving change, veterans’ benefits and managing post-traumatic stress disorder.

If you’re a service member in crisis or know a service member who is, confidential support at Veterans Crisis Line is only a phone call, click or text away - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Call 800-273-TALK (8255) and press 1 or text 838255.
